# Pricing — Agent Delivery Network — ADN

Pricing Starter is $9 a month. Pro when the site grows.
Starter serves agents on one site. Pro starts at $29/month and scales with the page views you expect — similar to analytics, not every CDN hit.
Prices exclude sales tax, VAT, or GST. Tax is calculated at checkout from your billing address.

 Included on Starter and Pro
 Agent hostname
Add a separate hostname for AI (default agents.yoursite.com). Link to it from your main site; people keep the site they already have.
 Included on Starter and Pro
 DNS connect
The easiest way to go live on every stack. Point www or your apex at ADN with one DNS record. AI visitors get the full response; people reach your origin. Included on Starter and Pro. Page views on that hostname count toward your plan quota.
Overages are off by default. When you hit a limit, people keep your site — availability first. Turn them on in Settings if you want ADN to keep serving past the included volume.
 Pay-per-crawl
Crawl revenue for publishers. Metered access for agents.
Separate from Starter and Pro subscriptions: optional HTTP 402 access fees on priced paths. Default list price $0.002 per successful HTTP 200 — you set your own price and per-crawler-family Charge, Free, or Block rules. Off until you enable it.

 * ADN takes 15% of gross crawl revenue as platform fee; publishers are paid the remainder via Stripe Connect Express after invoice settle.
 Publishers
 Earn from AI crawlers
Charge per successful HTTP 200 — default list price $0.002; you set your own price in the dashboard (global plus per-crawler-family Charge, Free, or Block).
Off until you enable it in Settings. Works on any host with ADN DNS connect — not limited to Cloudflare zones.
Unpaid or unknown AI crawlers receive HTTP 402 until they pay or verify. Discovery paths stay free: robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, security.txt, crawlers.json, and .well-known/*.
ADN is merchant of record and takes 15% of gross crawl revenue as a platform fee. Publishers are paid the remainder via Stripe Connect Express after invoice settle; crawlers billed monthly through Stripe Billing meters.
Crawl access fees are an access fee for fetching through ADN — not a training licence (Terms of Service §5.1).
402 responses include human-readable pricing in `x-adn-crawl-price` / `x-adn-crawl-price-usd` (not the legacy `payment-required` plain-text header, which is reserved for x402 v2 Base64 JSON when enabled).
 Crawler organisations
 Paid access where enabled
Sites may enable pay-per-crawl. Access is not free — you pay the publisher’s list price per successful HTTP 200 on priced paths.
Registered, verified ADN agents get 30% off the publisher’s list price (for example $0.002 → $0.0014 at the default list price).
Unpaid crawler orgs hit HTTP 402 on priced sites until billing is set up. Monthly invoices via Stripe Billing meters.
Example at the default list price: $0.002 → $0.0014 for registered ADN agents ( 30% off — not free).

 Questions
 Are taxes included?
No. Listed prices exclude tax. Stripe calculates sales tax, VAT, or GST at checkout from your billing address.
What counts as a page view?
HTML and document requests we inspect — from people and from AI — not images, fonts, or app internals. Closer to analytics pageviews than to total CDN hits.
What happens when I hit my limit?
We stop serving AI unless you have enabled overages. People keep your site, with full availability. Raise your volume, enable overages in Settings, or wait until next month.
 Do you charge overages?
Not unless you turn them on. Overages are off by default — no surprise bills. At the cap, people keep your site. Enable overages in Settings to keep ADN serving past the included volume: $0.40 / $0.25 / $0.15 per thousand inspected page views (Pro 25k–250k / 750k / 3M), plus $0.05 per extra render.
 What is DNS connect?
The easiest way to go live on every stack. Point www or your apex at ADN with one DNS record. Included on Starter and Pro. AI visitors get the full response; people reach your origin. Page views on that hostname count toward your plan quota. An agent hostname is different: it adds a separate subdomain for AI and leaves www on your origin.
 What is an agent hostname?
Add a separate hostname for AI (default agents.yoursite.com). Link to it from your main site; people keep the site they already have. Default label is agents.yoursite.com; you can choose another label if agents is already in use.
 Is agent registration included?
Yes. Registering an agent is always free. Sites pay for Starter or Pro; agents pay nothing to register or appear in the directory.
 What is pay-per-crawl?
Optional access fees for AI crawlers on priced paths: charge per successful HTTP 200 (default $0.002 list price, you set your own). Off until you enable it. Unpaid or unknown AI crawlers get HTTP 402 until they pay or verify. Discovery paths like robots.txt, sitemap.xml, llms.txt, security.txt, crawlers.json, and .well-known/* stay free. Works on any host via ADN DNS connect.
How do publishers get paid for crawls?
ADN is merchant of record for crawl access fees. We collect from crawler organisations via Stripe Billing meters (monthly invoices), take 15% of gross crawl revenue as a platform fee, and pay you the remainder to a connected Stripe Connect Express account after invoice settle. Separate charges and transfers from your ADN subscription.
Do registered agents crawl for free?
No. On sites with pay-per-crawl enabled, crawlers pay the publisher’s list price per successful HTTP 200. Registered, verified ADN agents receive 30% off that list price — not a waiver.
